The list below includes investments I made together with the outstanding teams at Gotham Ventures, North Hill Ventures, and Capital One, as well as in my capacity as an angel investor.

Thatcher Bell
I am Program Director at The Clean Fight, a New Energy Nexus accelerator for growth-stage clean energy companies. I am also a visiting instructor for Cornell’s Johnson School of Business and a Director of the NY Tech Alliance.
Previously, I was the Head of Startup Studio and Investor-in-Residence at Cornell Tech. I co-founded CoVenture, a venture capital and specialty lending firm. Before CoVenture, I was a Managing Director at Gotham Ventures, where we invested in companies like Sailthru, AdStruc, LendKey and I had the privilege of working with the team at SinglePlatform through the company’s acquisition by Constant Contact (NASDAQ: CTCT). Before joining Gotham, I was a Senior Analyst at North Hill Ventures, the venture capital affiliate of Capital One Financial, where I worked on the deal teams for the firm’s investments in DealerTrack (NASDAQ: TRAK) and Higher One (NYSE: ONE).
Before joining North Hill, I worked at two different start-ups: enterprise software vendor OpenPages (acquired by IBM) and SharkTank, an online marketplace connecting lawyers and potential clients. I began my career as a consultant at Ernst & Young (now Cap Gemini Ernst & Young).
I earned my undergraduate degree in Engineering from Cornell University and my M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
I live with my wife and two children in Manhattan (where I nonetheless maintain my allegiance to the Red Sox). I grew up in Nebraska (Go Huskers!).
